Shenfield St Mary’s Church of England Primary School is a friendly, open and caring school for boys and girls aged 4 – 11 years.
Situated in the heart of Shenfield, since 1865 a school has stood on this same site and throughout its history to the present day, the school has played an important role in the local community and parish. Recognising its historic foundations, it aims to preserve and develop its religious character in accordance with the teachings of the Church of England, working in partnership with the Church at the levels of both St Mary’s parish and the Chelmsford Diocese.
In its most recent inspection, they said:
"This is a school where every pupil has the chance to shine. Pupils flourish in every aspect of their intellectual, social and physical development."
