"To develop ambassadors for the community we live in, and the world around us".......Love they neighbour as yourself..... Luke 10 25-37

At Ingatestone and Fryerning Church of England Junior School, every child really does matter. We aim to create an exciting, challenging and stimulating atmosphere and nurture a thirst for knowledge so that enquiring, imaginative and creative minds can flourish.

The school was provided by the Church in 1817 and moved to new premises in 1963. It was originally open to infants and juniors, however due to increasing numbers, a new infant school was built in 1970 on Fryerning Lane. Our school now admits juniors between the ages of 7 and 11. We are a spacious, well-equipped school with large classrooms,  hall, a library and up-to-date computing resources. The school grounds are excellent and offer a large playground, fields and play equipment.  We also have a wonderful outdoor learning environment with a garden and wildlife area.

For more information about our school, please visit the school website.
